COURSE OVERVIEW:
USFA Type 3 All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT) course delivered by Elite Command Training. This intensive, scenario-based training teaches emergency responders the structure, leadership, and teamwork needed for a Type 3 Incident Management Team to manage large, complex incidents under the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
What O-305 Covers:
AHIMT Fundamentals: Goals of NIMS/NRF, Type 3 AHIMT purpose, structure, and roles.
Leadership & Teamwork: Building skills, communication, and dynamics within the IMT.
Planning Cycle: The All-Hazards Planning Cycle and the Planning-P.
Practical Application: Extensive exercises, simulations, and mock incident scenarios using realistic situations.
PREREQUISITES:
ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents
Staffing:
No backfill, holdover, or overtime authorized.
DRESS CODE
Station or Staff Uniform or business casual. No T-shirts, shorts, or sandals.

Failure to provide appropriate notification will result in the issuance of a "No Call/No Show Report" to the Training Chief of their respective agency. This information will be diligently monitored to assess attendance for future class offerings.
